  1. Go to visuals.shanti.virginia.edu
    • The Visuals homepage will appear
  2. Click the magnifying glass icon 
    • Find this icon on the right 
    • Search options will expand
  3. Type a search term in the search box
  4. Filter by visualization type, subtype, and author using the options below the search box
  5. Click the right facing arrow icon next to the search box 
    •  A page of search results will open 
  6. To refine search options, click on click Advanced Search 
    • Extra search options will expand
