If you want to browse Subjects without entering a search term, follow the instructions belowyou can click on the search icon anywhere in Mandala. Open the Subjects tab in the search panel to see the full subjects tree.

1. Go to https://mandala.shanti.virginia.edu/subjects
2. Click the search icon
   
   • This icon is a magnifying glass in the top right of the page

   • The search window will expand

   • The "Results" tab will be selected automatically

3. Click the Browse Subjects tab

   • A list of subjects will appear

4. Click the + and - signs to expand and collapse subject names
   

   • More subjects will appear

5. Hover over a subject name to preview the Knowledge Map

   • A tooltip will show the number of media items for the subject

6. Click a subject name from the hierarchy

   • The subject's page will open
