The Confluence production environment will undergo a migration from 8am-5pm ET on Saturday, May 25th. The Confluence environment will be available in read only mode. Changes to data in Confluence will not be possible until the migration is complete.
You can add transcripts to your media in Audio-Video. All transcripts in Audio-Video let viewers:
- read a text version of the video
- download the transcript
Timestamps provide start and stop times for the dialogue. This lets you use extra features. If you add a transcript with timestamps in Audio-Video, viewers can:
- get subtitles for the media
- read the transcript progressively as the media plays
- click lines on the transcript to skip around the media
If you want these extra features, use Transcripts with Timestamps to format your transcripts.
If you don't need these extra features, and just need viewers to read the transcript, use Transcripts without Timestamps to format your transcripts.
Both kinds of transcripts can include many languages.
