See the Root Node glossary definition

1. Log in to SHANTI Text
2. Click the menu icon
   • The menu icon is the four horizontal lines in the upper-right corner

   • A drop-down menu will unfold

3. Click the Create Text tab

   • The "Create Book page" window will open

   • This new page will be the root node of the text
4. Give your text a title in the "Title" box
   • "Title" is located at the top of the page
5. In the "Group content visibility" field, type in which groups will be able to see the text
6. Add a cover image in the "Featured Image" section
7. Type the content for the first page in the "Content" box
8. Scroll down to fill in metadata information for your text
   • Add the author in the "Author" field
   • Add the editor in the "Editor" field
   • Add KMap subjects in the "Subjects" field
   • Add KMap places in the "Places" field 
   • Add a description, the language, the publication year, and the rights in their respective fields
9. Click on Save and continue if you are finished editing the page
   • Save is located at the bottom of the window

   • A message will appear confirming the save
