Mandala allows you to tag your images using controlled vocabularies outside of Mandala, referred to here as "external classification schemes."  Two schemes which have already been defined and are available for use are:

• Getty Thesaurus of Geographical Names
• Library of Congress Subject Headings

If you have an additional external classification scheme you want to have defined for use within Mandala Images, write to shanti@virginia.edu to initiate the process.
