If you want to browse Subjects without entering a search, follow the instructions below.

1. Go to subjects.shanti.virginia.edu
2. Click the search icon
   
   • This button is a magnifying glass in the top right corner of the page

   • The search window will expand

3. Leave the search field blank
4. Click the Browse Subjects tab
5. Click + to expand "Tibet and Himalayas"
   

   • A hierarchy of subjects will unfold

6. Click + and - to expand and collapse subjects
7. Click a subject from the results

   • The Knowledge Map Overview page will appear
