selecting content from DPG. Should we be selecting things not in ArchiveSpace/other available places? Should we be prioritizing things we are not delivering yet? (May also want input from Collections stakeholders?) Manuscript collections that are scanned and not available could be good candidates.

  • Do we envision interposing Virgo between censhare and patrons pulling out objects from censhare? (for Mike from Zeke & Ellen)
    if we leave things the way they are served up in Virgo now,  we will have to configure censhare to have an automatic indexing pipeline. If we want to fix/simplify things, there is a page-turner viewer for censhare we could put into Virgo. 

  • Who will most patrons pulling out objects from censhare be? Special Collections users? Others? - all content we pull first will likely be completely public (not restricted to UVA only at this time) later sets of content (e.g. Comms) will be limited user sets.

  • Ellen Ramsey schedule next meeting in 1 month, NOT at 1pm by  
  • Ellen Ramsey will schedule with Ken Z to move Avyre's SOW forward when DPG content is selected for first migration. also will ask censhare/Avyre status of IIIF viewer that we could use in Virgo. before next DAMSI Team meeting
