1. Go to subjects.shanti.virginia.edu
2. Click the search icon
   
   • This icon is a magnifying glass in the top right of the page

   • The search window will expand

   • The "Results" tab will be selected automatically

3. Click the Browse Subjects tab

   • The subject name "Tibet and Himalayas" will appear

   Click the + sign to expand "Tibet and Himalayas"

   • A hierarchy of subject names will unfold

     A list of subjects will appear

4. Click the + and - signs to expand and collapse subject names
   

   • More subjects will appear

5. Hover over a subject name to quickly see its preview the Knowledge Map

   • A

     pop-over window will appear showing the subject's related media

     tooltip will show the number of media items for the subject

6. Click a subject name from the hierarchy

   • The

     node page for that subject

     subject's page will open
