If you want to browse Subjects without entering a search term, follow the instructions below.
- Go to subjects.shanti.virginia.edu
- Click the search icon
- This icon is a magnifying glass in the top right of the page
The search window will expand
The "Results" tab will be selected automatically
- Click the Browse Subjects tab
A list of subjects will appear
- Click the + and - signs to expand and collapse subject names
More subjects will appear
- Hover over a subject name to preview the Knowledge Map
A tooltip will show the number of media items for the subject
- Click a subject name from the hierarchy
The subject's page will open
