The Confluence production environment will undergo a migration from 8am-5pm ET on Saturday, May 25th. The Confluence environment will be available in read only mode. Changes to data in Confluence will not be possible until the migration is complete.
You can search for subjects anywhere in Mandala by clicking the magnifying glass icon in the top right corner. You can also search through assets tagged with a subject.
Filters for Subjects
Related Subjects: returns results, including subjects, related to the subject selected here. You can select more than one related subject.
Detailed Instructions
- Go to Go to https://mandala.shanti.virginia.edu/subjects
The Subjects homepage will open
- Click the search icon
- Find this button below the main menu This icon is a magnifying glass in the top right corner of the page
The "Search" window will expand
The "Results" tab will be selected automatically
- Begin typing Type a subject into name the "Search" fieldTo filter your search, click Advanced
A drop-down
menu of search filters will expand
- Choose the filters you want to use
- You can select as many options as you want from the "Show only results containing" and "Show only feature types" menus
- Click Enter
- Find this button to the right of the search field
A list of subjects that fit your search criteria will appear at the bottom of the window
- To view the search results in a hierarchy, click the "Tree" tab
- Note that you can browse the tree results without entering a search query. Learn more at Browse Subjects.
- Click + to expand a search result
- Click - to collapse a search result
- To view the search results in a list format, click the "List" tab
- Click the scroll bar buttons to browse the list results

- Use the arrow buttons as needed to view page results
- Click a subject name from the list
The node page for that subject will open
The Knowledge Maps Overview page will appear
