  1. Go to the SHANTI Texts homepageFill in the address once this is known - VCK texts.shanti.virginia.edu
    • The Audio-Visual homepage will open
  2. Click the Search  iconicon
    • The Search icon is a magnifying glass located in at the top right of the page
    • The "Full Text Search" sidebar will expand
  3. To search for titles:
    1. Type the terms you want to search for in the box
      • The "Title" option is selected automatically; if it isn't, click Title under the search bar
    2. Click Search
      • Your search results will appear

  4. Results are listed in a book:page format, where "page" is the page on which the search term appears

      • as a list of titles
  5. To search for text content:
    1. Click Full Text
    2. Type in the terms you want to search for in the box
    3. Click Search
    • Your search results will appear as a list of titles 
    • Each result includes an excerpt that contains your search terms
  6. Click the result you want to open
    • The text or section

    Click on a result

    • The page containing your term
      will open
