The Confluence production environment will undergo a migration from 8am-5pm ET on Saturday, May 25th. The Confluence environment will be available in read only mode. Changes to data in Confluence will not be possible until the migration is complete.
Passages are quotes from outside sources that show users how the term is used in a sentence.
You can add passages to a definition or an entire term. Passages can also include citations from Mandala Sources.
To add a passage to an entire term:
- Open the term in the editor view
- Click Passages, then New Passage
The passage form will open
- Enter the text of the passage
- Click Create
The new passage will open; you can add a citation to the passage if necessary
To add a passage to a definition:
- Open the term in the editor view
- Click Definitions, then the View icon next to the definition that needs a passage

The full definition will open
- Click Passages, then New Passage
The passage entry form will open
- Enter the text of the passage
- Click Create
The new passage will open; you can add a citation to the passage if necessary
