There are 3 agendas for this meeting:

  1. Detector acceptance study in E906 by Kenichi: https://seaquest-docdb.fnal.gov/cgi-bin/private/ShowDocument?docid=5434
  2. Detector acceptance study in E1039 by Zulkaida: https://seaquest-docdb.fnal.gov/cgi-bin/private/ShowDocument?docid=5503
  3. Progress and update in "Mock data challenge"

Discussion/Next things to do:

  1. We need to complete the study by plotting the acceptance as a function of transverse/longitudinal momentum as well as various kinematics.
  2. We need a way to validate our simulation.
  3. In the future we need to study the luminosity dependence.
  4. More statistics for the simulation
  5. Trigger emulator is almost finished by Mindy.

Update on the Mock data challenge:

There are a lot of progress related to the software and monitoring infrastructure by Haiwang and the team: https://seaquest-docdb.fnal.gov/cgi-bin/private/ShowDocument?docid=5458

Here are some next list to do in order to run mock data challenge by the end of May (based on my email exchange with Haiwang):

listed some tasks for the mock data challenge to be ready to run:
  1. trigger emulator debugging and testing ( ~ 1 week)
  2. full chain polishing (~ 1 week)
  3. infrastructure setup and testing (1 - 2 week)
  4. (optional) Build full coverage DSearch dictionary (2 weeks)
  5. (optional) physics goal for the mock data challenging

If successful, we would have a version 1.0 of the e1039 software + infrastructure.

The mock data challenge will test the production chain using e906 raw data and test the simulation chain by producing a large number of Monte Carlo.
