Use Mandala Assets in AV

You can add assets from other Mandala tools in any rich-text field in Audio-Video. Just click the  These fields include: 

• Descriptions for assets and collections
• Annotations for assets 

You can click the  in the toolbar for one of these fields to get started, or follow the instructions below. 

1. Create or edit an Audio-Video collection or asset
2. Find a rich text editor field
   1. Rich text editors include a toolbar and a large space for editing text
   2. "Description" fields usually use rich text
3. Place your cursor where you want to insert the citation
4. Click on the  Mandala icon in the toolbar
   1. The "Add Mandala Resource" window will open 
5. Switch the "Type" to Sources
   1. You can find the "Type" drop-down field in the top right corner

   2. A list of sources will appear

6. To use a citation you created, enter your computing id in the "Show only from user" field

   1. A list of your sources will appear

7. Use the other fields as needed to find the source you want
8. Click on the source you want to add

   1. The source will turn green

   2. You'll see an excerpt of the source to the right

9. Click Add item

   1. The window will close

   2. You'll see a citation in the editor

10. Repeat this process to add more citations
11. Save the Mandala asset when you're done
