If you want to browse Subjects without entering a search, follow the instructions below.
- Go to subjects.shanti.virginia.edu
- Click the search icon
- This icon is a magnifying glass in the top right of the page
The search window will expand
The "Results" tab will be selected automatically
- Click the Browse Subjects tab
The subject name "Tibet and Himalayas" will appear
- Click the + sign to expand "Tibet and Himalayas"
A hierarchy of subject names will unfold
- Click the + and - signs to expand and collapse subject names
- Hover over a subject name to quickly see its Knowledge Map
A pop-over window will appear showing the subject's related media
- Click a subject name from the hierarchy
The node page for that subject will open
