Each row represents a line in the stream.

The date that corresponds to the lines.

 

The value for the first date. This places a curve on the stream.

Notes:

  • This column forms the area for the first stream color
  • The label on this column should be the name for the stream area

    • The label on this column should be the name for the stream area
    • You can add as many additional columns as you need; each column represents a stream area.

Customization Options

Go to Common Options for Charts and Graphs to see the rest of the options

Area colors: formats the colors that will appear in each section of the stream

  • Click the colored square to show the ColorPicker tool
  • Choose colors for each tab
  • Note that each tab represents a different section in the stream

Area style: styles the areas in the graph

  • Stream: the graph will have white space above and below it
  • Stacked: the graph will start from the baseline and have white space above it
  • Full: the graph won't have white space

Area shape: formats the appearance of the areas

  • Curved: the lines will have no sharp edges
  • Flat: the lines will have straight edges
  • Stepped: the lines will be composed of small steps

Date format: sets how the dates will be displayed in the graph

  • Choose a date format from the drop-down menu
  • Note that when you hover over the area graph, the date will appear in the format you chose
