- Go to https://mandala.shanti.virginia.edu/places
- Click the search icon
- Find this button below the main menu in the top right corner of the page
- Type your search into the "Search" field
- To add filters to your search, click Advanced
A drop-down menu will appear displaying search filters
- Choose from among the filter options
- You can select as many options as you want from the "Show only results containing" and "Show only feature types" menus
Press Enter
A list of places that fit your search criteria will appear at the bottom of the window
- Click one of the search results
- The knowledge map page will appear
- Go to Explore Knowledge Maps for more information
